INTERNAL QUIET Bio

INTERNAL QUIET – The band was founded in Aleksandrów Łódzki by composer and guitarist Sławomir Papis and bassist Andrzej Kostrzewa, and began its activity in May 2011.

Initially as a studio project with a heavy metal tinge with an emphasis on musical originality and creating conceptual lyrics. However, the band eventually performed with a vocalist, and musically moved towards stronger sounds.

The first vocalist was Dominik Zurovac, the author of most of the lyrics for the debut album. He played several significant concerts with Internal Quiet, including Summer Dying Loud. The second guitarist from 2011 to 2013 was Bronek Grzywacz, and Paweł ‘Pawson’ Krasiński was on drums

After several personnel changes in 2015, the current line-up was formed, which is a fusion of the experience and skills of six local musicians: Sławomir Papis (lead guitars), Mateusz Stołowski (bass guitar), Dawid Roźniakowski (keyboards), Dominik Kalisz (rhythm guitar), drummer Radosław Jarzyna and vocalist and frontman Maciej “Rocker” Wróblewski. After a series of successful club and festival concerts in Poland (including ‘Summer Dying Out Loud’, ‘Książ Rock Zone’, ‘Festiwal Pomieszjmy Języki’) and alongside leading representatives of the Polish rock-metal scene, at the beginning of 2016 the band entered the studio to record material, the final effect of which in the form of the album ‘When The Rain Comes Down’ refers closely to the golden era in the history of metal music, its classic and at the same time significant guitar riffs and a slightly progressive character of the whole.

Year 2017 is a year of promoting the album, uncountable interviews for the press and radio and, pf course many visits to radiostations. Thanks to this our album “When the Rain Comes Down” has been the album of the week or album of the nonths at many of them. This year is also a year of changes. In November 2017 our long time keyboardist and friend, Dawid Roźniakowski has decided to left the band due to his personal reasons. We thank him for this years together and wish him all the best. Internal Quiet’s decision is not to looking for someone new.

Since today (14.10.2017) we have some fresh blood in the band. Let us introduce to you Paweł “The Bomb” Lachowicz, new Internal Quiet drummer. In September, Dawid Roźniakowski, who plays keyboard instruments, and drummer Radosław Jarzyna left the band. During the work on the second album, after recording his guitar parts, Dominik Kalisz, a longtime guitarist of Internal Quiet, leaves the band.

Dominik played two concert tours with Internal Quiet, 2016/2017 ‘Back To The Past Tour’ and 2018/2019 ‘When the Rain Comes Down Tour’, a total of about 90 concerts.

The first album is also a significant participation of Dominik in recording rhythm guitars. The sound of Internal Quiet from ‘When The Rain Comes Down’ is a big credit to Dominik.

In October, Dominik Zurovac and Dawid Roźniakowski joined the band again. The rhythm section was joined by a young, very talented man with whom the band immediately ‘got’ a common language, Mikołaj Rychlewski.
